A Year of Intentional Growth

The new year has a way of bringing clarity. Once the excitement of a fresh start fades and routines settle back in, we’re left with a quiet question: How do I want this year to grow?

We’re officially three weeks into the year, and I’ve found myself reflecting on what’s ahead. Not in terms of resolutions, but intentions. For me, this season is about thoughtful growth and expanding the reach of AB Tutoring in ways that truly serve students and families.

Choosing to grow a tutoring practice isn’t just about numbers or visibility. It’s about opening doors; to new students who need support, to families searching for the right educational fit, and to opportunities that allow learning to feel empowering rather than overwhelming. Lately, those doors seem to be opening in different ways than I anticipated. Conversations are happening at just the right time. Connections are forming naturally. Needs are being met in unexpected ways.

That’s been one of the most rewarding parts of this so far- watching momentum build when I stay aligned with my purpose.

As a tutor, I remain deeply committed to meeting students where they are: academically, emotionally, and developmentally. Growth doesn’t mean changing that foundation. Instead, it means finding more ways to bring individualized, thoughtful instruction to children who benefit from it most. Whether that’s through new partnerships, expanded availability, or reaching families who didn’t know this kind of support existed, this year feels full of possibility.

I’m excited about what the months and this year ahead will bring. For AB Tutoring, for the students I work with now, and for the families I may be meeting in the future. If these first three weeks are any indication, this year is already shaping up to be one of meaningful progress, steady growth, and open doors.

With gratitude,

Ashley
